This year we celebrate our church’s centenary and we are marking the occasion with a number of special events spread throughout the year. We have decided however that Sunday 12th September will be the “Big Day.” We plan to have a special Family Service on that morning at 10.30 to give thanks for the past hundred years and then in the evening to have another special service to look forward to all that God has for us in the future. We plan to have a reunion of “Soul Reason” our Youth Choir from the ‘80’s and ‘90’s to sing at the services and possibly also a reunion of our RSVP Theatre Company from the same era. Vanessa Glover will be returning to sing and there will be other items from our present membership to help us celebrate. There will also be a Centenary Lunch on that day.

We want to invite all ex-members and friends of the church to join us on that Sunday and if you come into that category can you please let us know your address so that we can send an official invitation. If you were a member of Soul Reason or RSVP we also want to contact you, I would imagine there will be a reunion and rehearsal on the Saturday.

So if you are an ex-member please get in touch by contacting the Church Office with your address if you are able to come and celebrate with us. It will be great to see you again.
