The Saturday Club
Saturday mornings 10.00 - 12.00 am
Saturday Club provides an opportunity for the elderly and those who don’t have the opportunity to meet with others during the week, to come along to our church hall to make new friends, chat and listen to talented speakers or entertainers every Saturday morning. For those who don’t have transport of their own, and might not otherwise be able to attend, the church tries wherever possible to arrange for someone to drive them each way.
If you’d like to come along, or alternatively feel you’d like to help with the driving or entertaining, please contact the church office for more details.

Small Groups (Formerly Home Groups)
Tuesday 8.00 - 10.00pm
Small Groups (Formerly Home Groups) were started some time ago to enable those attending the church to meet together once a week (normally Tuesday evening, although a few groups meet at other times) for fellowship, bible study and socialising. There are a number of groups, each comprising approximately ten or so people, and the meetings generally take place at someone’s house and tend to be very informal. They are a good way to form close friendships with other church members - something that might otherwise be quite difficult in a large congregation.
If you have been attending the church recently and are interested in joining a small group, please contact Richard Shorter at the church office.
Friendship Hour
Wednesdays 2.00 pm
Wednesday Welcome is a weekly devotional meeting mainly for ladies, but is open to anyone - you don’t have to be a church member. The Wednesday Welcome group nominates a charity or project for the year and supports it with various fund raising activities.
For more information contact Ann Root via the church office.
The Banner Group
When required
The Banner Group design and produce banners for display in and around the church. The banners are produced for specific key dates in the Christian calendar and at times of special occasions for the church and are an important way of raising the prominence of these events.
